Pre-production | Model Sheet

Each project begins with solid visual research into style and design. From the initial sketches and drawings, Animazing Motion creates what we call the character bible, the model sheets that will serve as a reference for modeling and planning dialogues and animation.
Step | 02
Pre-production | Storyboard

The storyboard begins with brainstorming in thumbnail form and ends with a second 3D version. It describes the changes in the animation, accompanied by textual notes on what's happening in the scene itself, such as camera movements and special effects.
Step | 03
Pre-production | Animatic

To give a better idea of the movement and timing of a complex animation sequence, Animazing Motion creates a simplified model called an "animatic". The storyboard above has been scanned into a film sequence to show the key poses in each shot. Layouts are also used to create a second 3D animatic.
Step | 04
Production | Animation

Keyframing is the technique used in 3D animation and essentially consists of modifying the shape, position, spacing or timing of an object in successive images. 3D production requires numerous animation tests before obtaining a good final result, and is carried out in collaboration with a reference actor for each shot.
Step | 05
Post-production | Compositing

Post-production is the stage that follows production, when 3D animation is completed and editing of background, visual and sound effects begins. Post-production refers to all the tasks associated with cutting the raw footage, assembling the footage, adding music, dubbing and sound effects, to name but a few.
